Where the approach came from

A decade of doing this, around the world.

Our approach was built and refined over more than a decade of teaching internationally. The method we have developed is embodied in Mission Based Learning, where participants learn in Masterclasses and apply their learning in a design challenge that creates solutions to real challenges.

That work spanned communities on several continents. Each one taught us the same lesson: people rise fastest when they learn by doing, together, on something that matters.
